Food Care, making living more affordable.

The Riverside Lifehouse Food Care program officially opened in 2006. Today Food Care provides low-cost food and household items to over 400 families in our local area.

We obtain a variety of food and household items from Foodbank Australia in Sydney, these are then made available to our local Food Care members. We run a cost recovery program, where members are able to access Food Care during the week with the choice of small or large amounts of items available.

Families and individuals who have a Health care card or Pension card can make big savings on their household budget. There is a good variety of food and household items as well as fruit and vegetables.
